　　科学课上老师让我们回家养蚕，要求要从开始就要做好记录，看它的生长情况发生的变化，回家后我让我妈弄了一些蚕种子。

　　蚕的卵比小米粒大些，白色的有点黑，粘在一片纸的上面。过了两天，卵壳内出现了一个小黑点，越来越明显，到后来竟是一只小小的虫子从卵壳里爬出来了，我知道这就是一只小蚕了。小蚕的身体细小，呈黑褐色，全身满生着毛毛，形态象蚂蚁，老师说叫做蚁蚕，毛毛叫刚毛。

　　蚁蚕就能吃桑叶，生长的很快，它的身体中部变青绿色，刚毛变少了，随着身体的不断增大，体色逐渐变淡，青色里面有白色。

　　第4天开始，幼虫不吃桑叶了，吐了一些丝状的物质，把肚子和尾巴缠在蚕叶上，一动不动，我以为它在吐丝做茧，老师说它在蜕皮。果然，经过一昼夜时间，即脱去旧皮，换上新衣服。
